The pie chart illustrates information about proportion of electricity production by fuel sources include coal, oil, natural gas, hydro power and Nuclear power in France between 1999 and 2010.
Overall, it is clear that France had much more division of various fuel types to generate electricity in 1990, especially coal , oil and natural gas. In contrast, there was falling of electricity production by natural gas given the next two decade. However, the share of nuclear power increase sharply for renewable sources in 2010.
In more detail, natural gas and coal were equally dominant for manufacturing electrocity in France, each making up just over a quarter of total. Similarly, oil accounted for 22% of producing electricity at the beginning of period. The remaining 23% of power was produced by hydropower and nuclear power with 6% and 17% respectively in 1990.
By contrast, in 2010 ,nuclear power was the most popular power for producing electrocity in France, it accounted for well over half of total of electricity production. If we look at the pie chart, oil and coal were equally highest percent for producing electricity, the proportion of each fuel sources for producing electricity amounted to 23% in 2010. Conversely, natrual gas drastucally dropped to 4% for producing electricity.Hydropower made up a marginally of electricity production in both of these periods.
