The diagram illustrates the layout of the University Sports Centre in 2007 and the renovations made to it recently.
It is apparent that the University brought in major advancements to its Sports Centre particularly in the form of a running track around the football pitch and incorporated more facilities for students such as first aid, clinic, lab etc.
Though the football ground remained similar in size as of 2007, it is now suited to be during diverse weather conditions. In addition, they added a new track for running around the football pitch for the students. At the middle of the sports centre, there were facilities for swimming, playing tennis and teaching centres. It appears that the swimming pool was reduced in size and the tennis court was transformed into a squash court. Whereas the teaching facilities have been enhanced to include more than forty units, which were previously 20 units in 2007.
In the bottom right of the map, it can seen that the space was utilised for three independent temporary teaching huts of varying sizes till 2007. However, it is now developed into an integrated building of four equal chambers. Towards the west, we can find an emergency first aid centre and a clinic adjoining it. Right next to the clinic is a laboratory facility. At the south-eastern side of the building, there are two-storied teaching facilities available.
