The pictures highlight the alteration in a small town called Shipmouth between two different time stamps which are 1995 and 2010.
In general, the town had undergone significant changes, with numerous buildings being constructed surrounding the city centre as well as the demolition of some properties and infrastructures achieving the modernization of Shipmouth. Many more establishments with the purpose of service were fabricated over the 15-year period, transforming Shipmouth to be almost unrecognizable.
Starting in 1995, Shipmouth was a humble town with minimal infrastructure and green forests surrounding it. Specifically, the city centre was in the middle of Shipmouth with only one two-way road for vehicles to traverse, and to the south was a train station for long-distance traveling. The station was in between the lake which was to the left and a forest that was to the right. Moreover, the factory is to the west of the city centre and opposite it are some houses for the residents. Finally, The church was on the northeastern side and another forest was to the northwestern side of Shipmouth.
Fast-forwarding to 2010, when Shipmouth witnessed significant changes and additions. Firstly, the location of the city centre was unchanged but the two-way road was transitioned into a pedestrian-only street. The station was not removed, on the contrary, another station was constructed to the north of the city centre. Additionally, in between the station and the lake a new football stadium was built, and following that was the replacement of the forest with an airport. Continuously, the factory was replaced by a shopping centre, and the houses opposite it were also replaced by skyscrapers. Finally, the pub is now at the location where the church once was and the forest which was on the northwestern of Shipmouth was cut down and new apartment blocks erected there.
