The diagram describes the process of producing cherry jam. Overall, there are three main stages in the process, from harvesting cherries and processing to packaging the eventual products.
At the first stage, cherries are collected through a sheet spread on the ground, then the cherry trees are shaken to make the cherries fall. Consequently, the collected cherries are delivered to the processing plant. The leaves and stems are removed during this stage, and then the cherries are rinsed with water. After being rinsed, the cherries’ stones are taken out from the center of the cherries by the metal spike machine.
At the following stage, cherries are cooked, and some extra ingredients are added to create a sweet and tasty flavor. Next, the jam’s quality is checked before being packaged in jars. Finally, a label is applied on the jars; in this way, the final cherry jam is ready for sale.
