The pie and bar charts show its use and the distribution of household energy consumption in Canada in 2010. Allocation of household energy is mainly dedicated to heating, with other categories contributing only a small proportion to the total energy usage. Within heating usage, the majority was allocated to refrigerators and others, with washing machine and television consumption following closely behind. Computer usage accounted for a relatively small portion of the overall water allocation.
The total power consumption in Canda showed an uneven distribution. Heating consumption accounts for more than half the total electricity, at 54%, while water heating and appliances came 2nd and 3rd in the respective figures of 18% and 11%. Meanwhile, lighting and other energy consumers are coming last with a 1 percentage-point difference.
There was considerable variation in how energy supply is broken down in domestic power consumption. The proportion of energy used for refrigerators and washing machines was the highest, with respective figures of 30% and 22%, while with a one-percentage-point difference, others came after them. Television consumes 15%, and computers 12%, with the least amount.
