The pie chart depicts the distribution of various platforms used to access international news content in the United Kingdom in the year 2019.
One of the most noticeable features is that television was the most popular choice amongst population over all other plausible mediums for accessing international news. Moreover majority of the population was interested in getting to know about the international news.
The proportion of people who used television to access international news comprised almost two quarters of the total population. The next popular choices where social media and other internet sources which combined up to a little over 25% of the population, followed by the traditional choices such as printed newspapers, radio and word of mouth which comprised only 13% of the total UK population in that year.
Over three quarters of the total population was interested in international news. However, a small fraction of the population was not interested in accessing the international news and this segment made up to 15% of the total UK population in that year.
