The pie charts illustrate the ratio of rented and private houses in UK in the time period of sixteen years from 1991 to 2007.

Overall, these charts are divided into four categories of different types of accomodation, and number of homes are comparitively less in past than now.

In terms of home owner, there is a 10% increase in the ratio from the year of 1991. Which is now 70% in 2007. The percentage of social renting drop from 23% to 17% in 2007.Social renting was higher in past but we have seen a major shift in present.

Private rentiing remained same which was 11% in past and remain constant in present. It is shown by yellow color. Scocial housing reduce from 6% to 2% of the years from 1991 to 2007. It is represented by blue color. The total number of houses owned and rented increase over the years from 22 millions homes to 27 million homes.
