The pie charts illustrates the electricity of one country derived from different sources – hydro, coal, gas, nuclear, and wind & solar in 2022. Overall, coal accounted for the main energy source in that country , while the reverse was true for hydro power. Additionally, coal itself had bigger number than the product of the proportions of nuclear, wind &solar, and hydro.
Focusing on larger figures firstly, coal rates stood at 34% which is the biggest among others. When it comes to the share of gas – the second main energy material in the city, it comprised 26% in 2022.
Turning to remaining shares, the proportion of wind & solar energy made up exactly 18% which was almost the half of coal extraction. Also, 14% of country’s energy came from nuclear, which was two-fold smaller compared to gas. Finally, hydro power stood at a mere 8% that was not commonly used at that time.
