The Pie chart shows the exact amount of governmental expenditure of UAE in the year of 2000. Overall, the government spent 315 billion AED divided between 10 different sections.
Initially, there was a clear variation in the spending and the budget was covered the following aspects: social security, transport, health and personal social services, law and order and education. In addition to, industry, agriculture and employment, defence, debet interest, housing the heritage and environment and the other expenditure.
Second, social security, health and personal social services and education were representing the highest governmental spending, about two third of the budget, 100, 53 and 38 AED billion respectively. In contrast, the expenditure was lower on law and order with 17 billion AED, housing the heritage and environment 15 billion AED and industry, agriculture and employment 13 billion AED. Meanwhile, the transport section spending was the minimum with only 9 billion AED.
