As for the upward trends, in the healthcare sector the percentages of volunteers made up 7% in 2008 and experienced considerable growth to 25% in 2014. The figure for the environmental sector, there was an increase from 21% to 34%, made it the most preferred sector by volunteers.
In contrast, when it comes to declining figures, the proportions of the art sector accounted for 15% and indicated a downward trend by 3%. While the percentages of volunteers in the educational sector were 24%, the sport sector made up 18%, and both of these sectors decreased to 8% and 12%, respectively. The other sectors have witnessed a drop from 15% to 9%.
