Overall, the most significant revenue sources and expenditure were donated food and program services.
It could be seen that in 2016 donated food was the most considerable percentage of revenue sources, which was accounted for 86.6%. Additionally, community contributions made up 10.4% of the total income. Whereas the other four sources of revenue(namely program revenue, investment income, government grants, other income) together accounted for only 3%. The total amount of income was $53,561,580.
On the other hand, we could see that in 2016 program services were the most significant expenditures of a USA charity, which were accounted for 95.8%. While the other two expenses(the fundraising, the management and general) generated the least amount of money, which together had about 4,2%. However, the total amount of money for a charity was $53,334,896.
