The table shows total amount of cost for shipping fishes to the US and the three charts illustrate from where (China, Canada and other countries) fishes were being imported, in the year between 1988 and 2000. total cost are measured in billions of dollars and the sources are represented in percentage.
Overall, US spent most of their money for importing fish in the year 2000 and least on 1988. Again in 1988, other countries rather than China and Canada, were the most favorable one for buying fishes but it became the least beneficial in 2000.
In terms of origin for fishes, a gradual increase is seen for the country China over the years in contrast to other countries. Whereas for Canada, there is a noticeable rhythm throughout the mentioned years. Though it rises about 19% from 1988 to 1992 but falls 4% in the year 2000.
Lastly, in terms of cost, as US spent most on 2000 i.e. $10.72 (billion) and most fishes came from China in the same year, it can be said China has the most contribution on this huge expenditure. From table it can be easily illustrated that, the expenditure rises around 2 billions dollar over the years mentioned.
