Overall, it is evident that in the whole world, the vast majority of water is used for agriculture. Conversely, the most dominant used water accounts for residential purposes in the two other countries.
Looking at the information in more detail, in San Diego County and California, 60% and 39% of water is utilized for residential consumption proportionally. Following that are figures for industry, which also consumes the second most water in the two countries with the percentages of 23% in San Diego County and 33% in California. While Californians use 28% of total water usage for agriculture, that number for people who live in San Diego County is 17%.
Figure for the consumption of water is quite different for the world as a whole. Nearly two third of the total water consumption in the world is used for agriculture, meanwhile, 23% of water usage is for industry and a mere amount of 8% accounts for residential water use.
