The three pie charts illustrate the number of journal articles read at an Australian university by all students, PhD students, and junior lecturers on a weekly basis.
It can be seen that the maximun number of journal articles were read by a large percentage of PhD students,while the majority of all students at the university read the least number of journal articles per week.Overall,all students in an Australian university read at least one journal article per a week.
In general,three quarters of junior lecturers read 6 to 11 articles,whereas eighty percent of PhD students read more than12 articles.However,more than half of all students preferred to read 1 to 5 journal articles while only one percent of junior lecturers and five percent of PhD students read 1 to 5 articles.In contrast,just almost a fifth of all students read 6 to 11 journals,and only twelve percent of all students read more than 12 journals weekly.Overall, PhD students have the highest interest in reading journal articles,while all students have a lower interest in journal articles at an Australian university.
