To commence with, primarly 20 years ago Coal was at the peak proportionally it was highest in last year which accounted for 41% and 33%, respectively. While, Oil was 2% which was least among all the sources from 2 decades ago which further increased twice by 4% last year. Whereas, Hydro pumped storage was only 2% as compared to this 1% was higher 20 years ago.
Moving forward, usage of gas was at the second highest position before 20 years which was 22.3% but in last year nuclear source stood the second highest for generation of electricity which was 26.4%. Surprisingly, Other renewable resources was even less than 6% among both 2 decades ago and least year for electricity Generated in Scotland.
