In 2009, the majority of people preferred watching conventional TV; however, in 2019, the trend shifted towards the use of flat-screen TVs, which became the most popular choice.
Initially, the usage of conventional TV was at 34% in 2009 but saw a significant decline to 4% in 2019. On the other hand, the adoption of flat-screen TVs and tablets started at 8% and 5% respectively in 2009, and over the following decade, their usage increased to 27% and 19%.
The figures for desktop computers and laptops were 18% and 20% in 2009, and they both dropped to 12% by 2019. Mobile phone usage, which accounted for 15% at the beginning of the period, experienced growth and ended as the second most popular device, representing a quarter of the total usage by the end of the period.
