The two pie charts illustrate the percentage of watching television between 18 and 25 age group in Canada 2009 and 2019.
By overall, one of the key changes is conventional TV over the ten-year period from 2009 and 2019. Then, tablet users are more increased than the period of 2009. Then, other devices usage are also had changed respectively.
In comparison, the conventional TV was totally declined from 34% to 4%. The mobile phone usage was about a quarter in 2019 when it is only about 15% since 10 years ago. Both desktop and laptop computers saw substantial falls in usage by 18% and 12% respectively.
Another trend is that young people are now using tablet and flat-screen TV. It is more flexible devices. In particular, tablet usage is more compromised by almost a fifth in 2019 which is only 5% in 2009. In contrast, using the flat-screen TV is also increased more than a quarter across the period of 10 years.
