In detail, in Australia, coal was responsible for a half production of electricity, while natural gas and hydro power has contributed only two-fifth of the whole chart in 1980. After two decades, in 2000, coal and hydro power became the major sources of electricity, when others sources have considerably decreased.

In terms, the contribution of fuel sources in France in 1980 was relatively similar: natural gas and coal allocated a quarter of the whole chart, when others were lower by a narrow margin (5 and 10 units, respectively).
