The chart delineates the expenses and the money that were given for the children’s charity in USA for one year in 2016.
Overall it can be clearly seen that, the highest for revenue sources is the donated food while for expenditures the lowest is the management and general.
Revenue Sources had a total of $53, 561, 580 and it was divided into six categories which are the following; donated foods, community contributions, investment income, government grants and lastly other income. The highest percentage in this area was the donated food where it has 86.6 per cent whereas the community contributions had only 10.4 percent. In addition, the three lowest sources for revenue were for other income that has 0.4 percent and government grants and investment income that has the same percentage which is 0.2 percent.
Turning to the expenditures, it was only categorized into three areas; program services that has 95.8 percent that indicates the this part is the highest, fundraising had only 2.6 per cent and the remaining part is the management and general that was the lowest among the two which has 1.6 percent. This gives the total of $53, 224, 896 and comparing the two, revenue sources had the biggest amount compared to expenditures.
