The pie charts illustrate the amount of energy capacity in gigawatts in 2012 , also give prediction for 2030.
Overall, the total amount of energy is expected to increase by 2030.Fossil fuels will still be a dominant source, while flexible capacity will continue to be a weaker point.
Looking at the details,in 2012 fossil fuels were a main source, at 64%.Other renewables came next at 22%. Wind accounted for 5% , followed by nuclear with 6%,which shows that these types of energy did not develop . Solar and flexible capacity made up the smallest shares, at 2% and 1% respectively.
In 2030, fossil fuels will decrease from 64% to 44%, although this type of energy is projected to be a leader.Other renewables are expected to fall to 19%,whereas solar energy will account for 22% . The amount of energy from wind also will increase to 12%.Both nuclear and flexible capacity will have small change to 1%,and they are predicted to accounted 5% and 2% respectively.
