The proportion of people who were looking for work is smaller, about 12% for those who moved to the UK and the figure for emigration constituted twice as much as the immigration. Besides, formal study was another major reason affecting the number of people who arrived in the UK, which accounts for 26%, although it was only 4% in emigration.
The proportion for no reason stated took up 18%, triple the statistic for immigrating. However, the number of individuals accompanied or joined, and other reasons were no significant in both charts.
