The charts illustrate the percentage of the day people spent doing various activities in the same country in 1958 and in 2008.
Overall, it could be seen that in the past people spent more time sleeping and going out, whereas in the 2008 individuals carried more work and amount of time spent at home increased.
The largest changes were seen in the percentages of sleep and work time; the sleeping time number dropped from 32% to 25% while the time spent at work increased from 33% to 42%. However, there were seen other tranformations, for instanse, the number of hours spent relaxing at home and traveling to work rised; in the 1958 they were 8% and 2% and lately numbers went up to 13% and 8% respectively. On the other hand, the declined trend was also seen in going out hours; in the past the figure was 19 percentage and lately it fell by 13. Even though, there was one activity, which level did not change during the time – others activities.
