The most evident activity that most teens do these days is play video games. We can observe a tendency, boys enjoy computer games more than girls do, probably due to the fact that most computer games either sport-related or have an adventurous theme.
Both genders seem to have a preference for physical activities, but they do no have any in common, girls would rather do sports involving only moving their body, whereas boys prefer team sports. Furthermore, the two seems to enjoy listening to music just as much.
The clear difference between them can be seen in the passion for literature, where 2% of male teens enjoy reading and female adolescents a staggering 21%, that is almost 11 times higher! This enormous difference is caused by boys’ passion for gaming, rarely choosing a book instead of coaching their favourite football team or building a house.
