The graphs give the information about the proportion of public and private physical education and sports facilities in a specific country of Asia in the year 2002.
To summarize, the highest number of facilities in both public and private were provided by small places which are categorized as ‘Others’ in the pie chart. Rest in public, playground accounted as the largest recreational place, closely trailed by gymnasium and basketball ground, while camps the least. Conversely, in private, golf course was leading after others, followed by training grounds and indoor swimming,whereas gymnasium was the last.
The public facilities represented ‘Others’ at the most highest 34.9%, whereas it was closely trailed by playground, gymnasium, basketball ground and outdoor tennis court at 15%, 14.3%, 13.9% and 11.7% respectively. Meanwhile, swimming pools and camping sites provided less as compared to them at approximately 6% and 4%.
On the other hand, if we discuss about private places, in this also ‘Others’ took the largest share at 33.5%, folowed by golf course, and training ground for golf at 13.7% and 13.2%. Additionally, 1/10th of the facility was given by swimming pools. a number of other recreational facilities took the share at outdoor tennis court, physical training gym and dance hall at approximately 8.4%, 7.6% and 6% respectively.
