Overall, boys and girls share the same interests in some free-time activities, such as computer games, listening to music, and reading. Computer games are the most popular among boys, while dancing is the largest share in girls’ activities.
Looking into the details, 34% of boys participated in playing computer games, while that of girls accounted for just 16%, which was less than a half. The percentage of boys and girls who took part in listening to music showed a similar figure at 10%. In addition, the proportion of boys and girls who did reading experience a huge different at 2% and 21%, respectively.
Conversely, Whereas girls took part in gymnastic, netball, and dancing at 11%, 15%, 27%, respectively, 26%, 17%, and 11% of boys participated in basketball, soccer, and skateboarding.
