The map illustrates the changes in the layout of the Grange Park from 1920 to the present day. Overall, most of the key features of the park, such as the rose gardens, performance zone and water-related decorations remain in the park, with addition of some new features but also removal of some facilities in the park.
Similar to 1920, there are still two entrances to the park from either Arnold Avenue or Eldon Street. However, there is currently a new underground car park with the entrance built on the right side of the park from Eldon Street, close to where the water feature is. The water feature, showcasing a decorated pond with a small waterfall, is presently the only water-related ornamental area in the park, replacing the fountain and the pond where water plants were grown.
The newly renovated park also caters for the children visitors as it now includes a children’s play area. Meanwhile, the parents and other visitors can enjoy a meal in the café right next to the playground. The fountain which marked the centre of Grange Park is now replaced by a upscaled rose garden, with seating areas along each of its four sides. Nonetheless, one the previous small rose gardens situated between the Arnold Avenue and the performance zone is retained. The performance stage of the park is now upgraded into an amphitheatre equipped with large number of seats and a modern stage with facilities sufficient to hold a concert show.
