The maps compare the layouts of Grange Park as it was in 1920 and its current construction.
Overall, the arrangement of the park has been largely re-established. The stage for musicians in 1920 is now replaced by a well-established amphitheatre, which is designed for concerts. The other significant improvement has taken place in the centre of the park, the previous fountain has been eliminated, while the rose garden which is surrounded by seats is now located in that area.
In 1920, there were two entrances situated on Arnold Road and Eldon Road. A fountain settled in the middle of the park. Walk through the door on Eldon Road and turn right, the glasshouse was constructed. A pond where the water plants grew and was laid in the northeast corner, while a rose garden was on its left side. The other two rose gardens were arranged opposite in the west part with seats around them, an ancient-style stage was built between the two rose gardens.
Nowadays, the location of the entrances stays the same, while a new entrance to the underground car park is situated in the southeast. Along the east side, a spot of water feature is now opened for appreciation. The northeast part is the area for entertainment at present, a cafe and children’s playground are built there. Only one of the old rose gardens is preserved in the northwest. A spectacular amphitheatre is designed and located on the south side of the garden.
