The two maps illustrates how the Grange Park transform from 1920 to present.
In general, there are some advancements of infrastructures for entertainment and relaxation after a long time.
Let’s begin by looking at the park in 1920, activities in there was limited due to fewer facilities. From the west to east, there were three rose gardens which are varnished two of all to make room for cafes and blank places in plan. In addition, in the past, residents watched music performances in a small stage, whereas, it is renovated and extended a huge amphitheatre for concerts with a large seats. Next to the cafes situated in the north-eastern, there is a replacement from pond for waters plants to children’s play area.
In terms of the center of park, the fountain is converted into a giant rose garden with the arrangement of seats surroundings. However, two main entrances have been still remained since 1920. Besides, in the south-eastern park, it is noticeable that the glasshouse witnessed a reconstruction to set up a water feature which is lie in the west of new-opened entrance underground for car park.
