The plans illustrate how the ground floor of a particular building has changed over time.
The area underwent significant redevelopment over several decades, from an office to an apartment and to a flower shop. The most noticeable change occurred in the reduction of rooms from 1958 to 2001.
Between 1958 and 1984, the ground floor was used as an office with 7 separate rooms. This is a meeting room and an assistant’s office located to the left of the top half of the diagram; however, these rooms were demolished to become a living room in an apartment in 1985-2000. After that, a flower shop in 2001 changed to a gift card area and a large space to display flowers. A kitchen situated in the top right corner remained unchanged throughout the years.
A manager’s office located to the right and a reception area situated in the bottom right of the office was reconstructed to two large bedrooms in an apartment. Then, these rooms became an office of the flower shop and an area below for displaying flowers. A secretary’s office and a toilet in the left of the bottom half of the office in 1958-1984 were replaced by a large space of bathroom and shower in an apartment. Finally, it was transformed into a play area of the flower shop in 2001.
