The maps illustrate the design layout of a university sports complex as it currently exists and how it will change following reconstruction.
Overall, the complex witnessed drastic developments in future. The most noticeable difference is the addition of various new facilities, such as a pool, dance studio, sports shop and a café, following an overall expansion of the centre.
Currently, the university sports centre features a relatively basic infrastructure. The entrance leads to a reception area at the centre of the complex. Immediately behind the reception is the gym. There is a 25-meter pool between the gym and the reception area. The changing room is located on either side of the pool. To the west of the pool are outdoor courts. Similarly, to the east, another set of outdoor courts occupies the space.
In contrast, the redevelopment plans envision a more diverse set of facilities. The 25-meter pool remains in its original location, as does the gym located behind the reception area. To the west, the outdoor courts will be replaced with a leisure pool, while to the east, they will be converted to a sports hall. Moreover, two dance studios will be added to the northeast corner of the building. A sports shop and a café will also be introduced near the reception area in the entrance hall. Additionally, the number of changing rooms will be expanded to accommodate the increase in facilities.
