Overall, it is clear that brown bread and white bread experienced an overall upward trend, while the figures for wholegrain bread saw a significant decline over the period shown. Additionally, rye bread remained relatively stable despite some fluctuations.
Looking at the details, in 2015 , the figure for brown bread stood at $0.6. It then rose steadily over the next 5 years to reach a peak of $5 in 2020, before experiencing a slight dip to finish the period at 2030. Similarly, white bread started at $0.6 and climbed gradually,increasing steadily after 2020.
Turning to the remaining categories, wholegrain bread showed a completely different pattern. Starting at a high of $0.8 in 2015, it plummeted dramatically to $0.7 by 2030. Following this sharp drop, the numbers leveled off and fluctuated slightly around $0.8 until the end of the timeframe. Whereas, rye bread has remained stable over the period of 2025 and 2030 which was $0.6 turning back to the start point.
