The diagram depicts the process or steps of mass manufacturing of coconut oil. It can be observed that manufacturing coconut oil from coconut involves a large number of steps and is a lengthy process.
The process commences with the harvesting of coconut tree whose quality depends on time. Dehusking and grafting are the processes followed by harvesting. The product obtained from grafting is weighed in the next step. After that, the weighed product is dried by exposing it to sunlight. It is then pressed using hydraulic press in order to get the extraction.
Clarifying process is conducted with the extraction obtained by pressing in order to remove impurities. Following the clarifying process, filtering process is conducted in a flask like tool. The final product which is coconut oil, is manufactured after the filtering process. The product obtained is then sent for packaging. Packaging is done in bottles or jars of various shapes and sizes. Once the packaging of the product is accomplished, it is sent for shipping.
