I am Ramandeep Kaur, a resident of the small town of Caledon in Canada. I work in Toronto, and my daily commute passes along Old Church Road, which is located directly in front of my house. I am writing to express my frustration regarding the severely damaged condition of this road.
The condition of the road is extremely poor, with many deep cracks and holes that pose a serious risk to both drivers and pedestrians. The surface has become uneven and broken, making it difficult to drive safely, especially at night and during rainy weather. The road has been badly damaged due to excessive rainfall and the frequent movement of heavy-loaded vehicles passing in front of my house for the past eight months. Although, an inspection team visited the area to examine the situation, no serious action has been taken so far, which clearly shows negligence on their part. As a result, the damage is getting worse day by day, causing inconvenience and danger to residents.
I suggest the municipal authorities to take immediate and necessary action to repair the road before any serious accident takes place. I would appreciate it if the repair work could begin as soon as possible.
