The table below demonstrates details of high school teachers’ salaries in five countries,such as Australia,Denmark,Luxembourg,Korea and Japan.
Looking from an overall perspective,the highest paid tutors worked in Luxembourg,leading in all terms of salary. However it took them a long time to reach it,as well as to Korea and Japan. In contrast, wages in the Denmark and Australia were noticeably lower,but they also spent less time to reach their peak.
In Luxembourg,the starting earnings were $80,000, which was considerably higher than in Denmark($47,000), whereas teachers in other 3 countries earned about $30,000 each year. The income per year in Luxembourg was $112,000, which was twice as much as in remaining countries, where profits were around $50,000.
In relation to the highest salary, Luxembourg was again the highest ($139,000), and Korea was second with $84,500, followed by Japan ($62,400),Denmark ($54,000), and Australia($48,000). The time required to achieve those highest figures was longest in Korea,Japan, and Luxembourg at 37,34,30 years. In comparison,teachers only needed to work 8 and 9 years in Denmark and Australia to reach their tops.
