Overall, African nations allocate high expenditures to water compared to Western countries, while Pakistan, which is located in Asia, stands closer to the UK.

Tanzania by 6.4 cents and Uganda by 4.1 cents top the chart, which contribute to 5.7% and 3.2% of their daily incomes, respectively.

In contrast, US citizens pay less than $1, which is followed by the UK residents, who can easily afford slightly more than a dollar. Furthermore, these figures account for small fractions of their salaries. And although it costs 1.76 cents for Pakistanis, it represents up to 1.1% of their daily wages.

To sum up, water is totally affordable in developed countries, while it can be too much of a heavy burden in underdeveloped and developing zones.
