The table gives information about how much percentage of workers in industries, specifically in Information Technology, Education, Healthcare, Finance and Manufacturing worked from home in one country in 2000, 2010 and 2020.
Overall, it can be seen that the percentages for all industry employees increased about twice and a half during the period of 20 years. Moreover, it is clear that among industry allocated numbers the information sector was quite spectacular.
In 2000, the figures for information technology, education and finance sectors were just around 10%, 5% and 8%, respectively. However, it can be pointed out that these numbers shifted twice, as they were, showing 25%, 12% and15%. In the last year, these three sectors have shown 75% increase in 2020, with 45%, 20%and 30%, respectively. The percentages of other two sectors, namely, healthcare and manufacturing were with the margin of 2% and 1%, which raised twice as high as of those three prior sectors, showing 5% and 2%. In the last year, the figures followed by the same increase in numbers showing 10% and 5%, respectively.
