It can be seen that Nigeria, Chad, and Somalia had an upward trend in oil production throughout the given period, but Congo’s oil production saw a downward trend. Congo’s oil production started at the highest figure, 275,000 barrels, before falling steadily to over 220,000. Meanwhile, Chad did not produce daily oil during this period.
After decreasing in the first three years, the figure for Nigeria’s oil production witnessed a slightly rise to 213,000 barrels, which ranked first in this figure in the last year of period given. In contrast, the number of oil barrels in Chad was recorded a remarkable climb of 50,000. The oil production in Congo continued dropping then ended with 203,000 barrels, but Somalia’s figure increased to around the same as Chad’s at the end of period.
