The table spells out the difference in the percentage of population within the age group of 60 and above in three countries (Canada, Germany and UK) in 1988, 2000 and 2030. Overall, It is observed that there is significant increase in the proportion of people over the years. It is also noticed that Germany had the largest percentage while UK had the lowest proportion in 2030.
For Canada, in 1988, the group of people slightly increased from 16.32 to 20.67 in 2000 and then peaked at 26.35 in 2030. The percentage started with 20.45 in Germany,then increased by more than 5% in 2000 and also by 2030 rose to 30.42.
However, UK got the lowest proportion of the total number of individuals changed. Firstly, it began with 14.23 in 1988, then moved higher a bit to 14.89 in 2000 and finally increased to 20.35 by 2030.
