The table illustrates the population’s growth in 2003, 2025 and 2050 in four different countries. The countries are Argentina, Indonesia, Italy, and the Republic of Korea. Overall, only Indonesia and Argentina are projected to continue growing up to 2050. On the other hand, the Republic of Korea would stop increasing by 2025. Moreover, Italy suffers a continuous decrease of population from 2025 until 2050. The figures show that Indonesia has the highest population. In contrast, Argentina has the lowest population.
First of all, Indonesia has the largest population of 238 million people. The number of Indonesian people is estimated to grow up to 274 million by 2025 and 312 million people by the year 2050. However, unlike Indonesia, Italy would suffer a slight decrease of citizens from 54 million to 47 and will be projected to reach 45 million residents by 2050.
Furthermore, Argentina is shown to expect some growth from 34 million to nearly twice its population. It will reach 62 million in 2050. Unlike Argentina, the Republic of Korea’s citizens may possibly stop growing by 2025 with a resident number climb up slightly from 48 to 52 million citizens.
