Overall, the proportion of people who chose these areas generally went up, except for the percentage of males in government field and females in other jobs. Notably, the field of government consistently remained predominant throughout the years, albeit genders.
Looking at the private lawyer category, the figure was initially 15% for males and 17% for their counterparts, which experienced a modest increase by 4% for both in 2016. In the business field, the proportion of two genders was equally 14%. In 2016, while the figure for females went up to 21%, that of males stayed unchanged.
Regarding governmental lawyers, there were 45% males and 41% females choosing this field in 2001. Afterwards, an opposite trends occurred between two genders, making them 38% and 42%, in that order. Similarly, lawyers working in other areas started at about approximately 27% for both, followed by a growth to 29% for males and a decline to 16% for females.
