The given table illustrates the distribution of male and female lawyers in distinct areas in a specific nation from 2001 to 2016.
Overall, the percentage of female lawyers in almost areas increased whereas the opposite was true for that rate in others. It was seen a growth in the proportion of male lawyers in private one and others. Looking at table, the recorded statistic showed a dominance of female lawyers in most the mentioned areas.
Regarding the male lawyers, in 2001, there was a figure of 45 % men choosing to be governmental lawyers, however this percentage dropped to under 40% in next 15 years. While the lowest figure was recorded in business at 14% which still stabilized in 2016. Standing at 15% in 2001, the data for private lawyers climbed to nearly 20% and that of others also had an uptrend to 29% in 2016.
In terms of female lawyers, the percentage for government also topped in two mentioned years with over 40%, whereas, the lowest data (14% in business) increased to the same figure in private layers at 21%. In others, there was a decline in the statistics for female lawyers to only below 20%.
