The table illustrates how many lawyers selected jobs in different realms in a specific nation over the 15 years, starting from 2001 until 2016.
It can be seen that the proportion of lawyers were female in all categories increasing, except for others. It is also notable that the number of female lawyers choosing others experiencd the most remarkable change.
In 2001, the figure for male lawyers selecting private lawyer, business, government and others was 15%, 14%,45% and 26%, respectively. The following 15 years, the number of lawyers were male in private lawyer and others increasing significantly to 19% and 29%, respectively, while that in business remained unchanged, still at 14%. By contrast, the percentage of male lawyers engaging in government decreased slightly to 38% at the end of the period.
Looking at the table in more detail, in the first year, the proportion of female lawyers choosing government was 41%, in comparison with 28% ones in others , 17% ones in private lawyer and solely 14% in bisiness. The next 15 years, the figure for lawyers were female in private lawyer and business raising to 21%. Similarly, the percentage of female lawyers in government grown to 42% but that in others dropped remarkablely to 16% in 2016.
