In 2001, the number of lawyers in government field with male and female reach a peak, at 45% and 41%, while the business numbers have the lowest percentage, at 14% in both genders. Following this, fifteen years later, the male business lawyers still remained stable at 14% although the female counterparts rise notably, reaching to 21%. Additionally, the male lawyers working for government dropped remarkably, at 38% and there was only one more proportion plus in female counterpart, at 42%, in 2016.
Regarding to remaining categories, the number of lawyers working in others fields was higher, at 26% for male and 28% for female, than the figures for private lawyer, at 15% and 17% respectively. After which, while there was an upward trend for the number of private lawyers in both gender, at 19% and 21%, the numbers working in others field rose slightly by 3% with the female counterpart dropped significantly, at 16% in 2016.
