Overall, the data shows increase of expenditure in 2001 compared to the expenditure in 1991 in most category, such as food, electricity and gas, housing, and other goods and services, with the exception of clothing and transport.
The expenditure for electricity and gas in 2001 had the highest increase compared to other category, by 45 dollars, rising from 75 to 120 dollars. Food expenditure also rose by 5 dollars to 160 from 155 in 1991. Housings also increased by 5 dollars in 2001, going from 95 to 100 dollars. Other goods and services expenditure increased significantly by 20 dollars per month.
In contrast, clothings and transport experienced a moderate decrease in expenditure from 30 to 20 dollars and 70 to 45 dollars, respectively.
