This table illustrates information about the number of international students who studying in different faculties in Australia over a three-year period time between 2020 and 2023.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that there was an upward trend in the number of students who studying business, engineering, computer science, and medicine, while students who choose art & humanities saw a significant downfall of the period in question.
Looking at the details, as regards the figure of business faculty started at 15,000 students in 2020, then there was a rise to 18,500 people in 2023 what means that there was an increase to 23.3%. As for, engineering faculty, the figure was 10,500 individuals in 2020, and then there was a growth to 12,300 or 17.1% im 2023. If we look at the computer science program, the trend was similar. It started at 8,200 pupils in 2020 after that it went up on 34.1% what makes it there were 12,300 students in 2023. In medecine there was not so much interests, in the first year there were 5,600 people, after which it grow to 6,500 pupils in 2023.
By contrast, the number of students of art & humanities program went in the opposite direction. The figure started at 7,800 students in 2020, and there there was a significant decrease to 6,900 pupils and it changed to around 11.5% in 2023.
