The table illustres changes that took place in number of motor vehicles per 1000 citizens in eight different countries in 1990 and 2000. It is evident from the table that bahamas was the only country that witnessed a decrease in vehicle number.
In 1990, the highest number of vehicles per 1000 people was found in luxembourg and news land at 548 and 531,respectively. The bahamas followed with 235 vehicle per 1000 people .meanwhile ,the figure of Brazil ,Chile,Japan and Romania was between 50 and 68.Combodia had the lowest figure of 1 vehicles per 1000 people.
By 2000,the number of vehicles in Brazil and Romania witnessed a significant increase with the figure reaching 13580and 8012. Vehicle number in luxembourg and Chile increased slightly to 728 and 88 per 1000 people, while the figure of jordan tripled .the figure for News land and Combodia stayed relatively the same, however the number of vehicles per 1000 people in the bahamas dropped to 187.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that Brazil and Romania had the highest number of vehicles in 2000and Combodia the figure were the lowest among all countries in both the years.
