Overall, It is clear that although the numbers of female riders declined slowly as the age group increases, number of females who rode bicycles tend to be higher than those of males throughout all the age groups. The percentage of teenage males who rode bicycles has declined to almost half as compared to children. The number of female and male riders has rosed after the age group 60.
The proportion of male riders fell sharpely after the age group 0-9, decreasing up to almost 50% in age group 10-17, further reducing to 9.7% in age group 18-39 , while the percentage of males have increased to 13.2 after the age 60.
Meanwhile, the number of female riders had declined slowly from 51% in age group 0-9 to 42.% in age group 10-17, the female proportiona have fell sharply after the teenage age group making it to 17% in female adults.
