The table shows the percentages of male and female population for each set of age groups who rode bicycles. The data is collected for one particular town.
From the table, it is evident that the kids of age group 0-9, specifically females take the highest share of percentage. On contrary, the lowest share is for males in the age group 40-59. In general, it can be observed as the age increases, the percentage of population for both genders decreases until 59, taking the lowest point at 40-59. Although, 60+ show a small upward spike.
Firstly, talking about the percentages of males, 0-9 takes has the highest part of 50.3. Apart from that, 10-17 group has 24.6 whereas 18-39 takes 9.7. Following which, the lowest is shown for 40-59 with 8 percent. And finally we see an increase for 60+ with 13.2.
Secondly, the females stand the highest at 51.4 percent for the age group of 0-9. Consequently, 10-17 obtained a share of 42.2 and 18-39 stood at 17.1. Continuing the decreasing trend, the lowest at 40-59 is 12.3. But it took a turn around to 18.5 for 60+.
