The table illustrates which cultural activities did people from Scotland chose to participate in last year, in order to an inquiry among inhabitants.
Overall, the highest percentages are in the dancing, singing, playing musical instruments and acting, while the lowest participation is in the computer based activity.
The age group of from 16 to 24 was the most active in any performance activity with the 35 percent, and this is the highest percentage in the table. People between 45 and 74 were more active in undertaking any craft than other age groups, and the second group was the all aged 16 and over with 19 percent. Cultural purchases were popular among 25-44 and 45-74 age groups with 17% and 18% relatively.
The less demanded activities were writing and computer based activities, and young adults between 16 and 24 participated more in these activities. People between 45 and 74 were less active with 11% in visual arts than others.
