The following table outlines the types and frequency of health issues at Todai Electronics in 2010 and the most common medical treatments required by their employees.
Overall, data regarding required medical treatment is categorized into two distinct groups – male and female employees and consequently into another two subgroups – minor care and the need for hospitalization. Most of the employees have a need for minor medical care, rather than obligatory hospital stay.
Foreign Body in Eye is the most common health issue among both gender groups, with 54 cases of minor treatment for male and 24 for female, while only 10 hospitilized cases were registered for men and 3 for women. Hearing problems occured in 31 men requiring solely minor treatment, as well 13 females with no need for hospitalization. Ingested chemicals were also a wide health issue due to which 42 male employees demanded for minor medical therapy, with only one employee being hospitalized. Half of those incidents have happened to women with 24 minor treatment required. Foot injuries were mostly common to male, requiring minor treatment. Only one case of male hospitalization was needed due to arm/hand injuries.
